The distinctive colour of our Lavender & Rosemary soap comes from the dried root of the Alkanet plant which is steeped in extra virgin Olive Oil before the soapmaking process begins. Not only does it create this gorgeous deep purple/ grey colour, Alkanet root is also reputed to be a great anti-inflammatory and can he helpful to soothe itchy skin, eczema and burns. A strong, vibrant scent and a gorgeous colour! Use this in your morning shower and you'll feel ready for whatever the day brings!​
